Could you pass the Texas adjuster exam? Ten questions from the Insurance Code.
The Texas All-Lines Adjuster exam is the state licensing exam for insurance claims adjusters, and because Texas is widely accepted as a home state for reciprocity it is the first licence many adjusters earn even when they live elsewhere. Pearson VUE administers it for the Texas Department of Insurance: 150 four-option multiple-choice questions, a 150-minute limit, and a scaled passing score of 70. Pearson VUE reports a scaled score, which is neither the number nor the percentage of questions you answered correctly, so the practice test here uses 70% only as a yardstick. You can qualify either by sitting the exam or by finishing a TDI-approved pre-licensing course, and the licence renews with continuing education — TDI publishes the current term and hours.
The exam follows a published blueprint with three weighted areas: general property-and-casualty product knowledge (40%), insurance terms and legal concepts (40%), and Texas insurance law, licensing and claim practices (20%) — twelve domains in all, from the standard fire policy and the homeowners and auto forms through marine, bonds and workers' compensation to the Texas prompt-payment and unfair-claim-settlement rules. The ten questions below come out of the Texas pool of the Insurance Adjuster Exam TX FL app's question bank; every question in it names the statute, rule or regulator's guide that makes its answer correct, and anything that could not be traced to one was cut rather than shipped.

What it is
Texas and Florida insurance license exam prep, cited question by question. One app covers three exams — the Texas All-Lines Adjuster exam, Florida's 6-20 adjuster exam and the Texas life, accident and health agent exam — with 989 practice questions, every one traced to the statute, rule, policy form or regulator's guide behind it. A timed mock in each exam's real shape — 150 questions on a 2½-hour clock for the Texas adjuster exam, 100 on a two-hour clock for Florida, 130 on a 2½-hour clock for Texas life and health — and a plan that counts back from your exam date.
Why we built it
The material is public — the Texas Insurance Code, the Administrative Code, TDI's exam content outline and its own consumer guides — but it is scattered, and the prep that exists asks you to take its answers on faith. This names the source on every question so you can check it yourself, and anything that could not be traced to one was cut rather than shipped. Unofficial study aid, not affiliated with the Texas Department of Insurance or Pearson VUE.
